National Education TrainerMy philosophy of education is that learning should be fun. I have been an educator for seventeen years, and I have learned a lot. What I’ve learned most is that children want to be treated with respect, just like the adults do, because they are people, too. I believe that teachers need to be given research based, proven, practical strategies and applications that they can start implementing immediately – without throwing anything out that is working in their classroom. I have served as a classroom teacher, a Reading Specialist, a Gifted and Talented Coordinator, and a Testing Coordinator. Serving as a National Trainer is another honor that God has bestowed upon me. It is an opportunity for me to help teachers better manage their classrooms as they educate future doctors, lawyers, writers, etc. In addition to teaching, I have also been blessed to be a mother, a Christian Songwriter, a children’s book author, and an inspirational poet. It is my hope that you will continue to want what is best for children and continue to move forward as you desire to learn new skills that will better equip you to be the best educator that you can be. God bless you.
